“Ageless Wisdom” and The Reappearance of The Christ
Over the last couple of decades the many headed hydra called the New Age has, become even more sinister with every passing year. Most New Agers share a common vision ... the present phase of human existence is one of transition from the Piscean Age of rationality to the Aquarian Age of spirituality and harmony of all things.
What is particularly alarming is that based on the teachings of two women (Helen Blavatsky and Alice Bailey) both of whom were in communication with non-human 'masters of wisdom' (members of the so-called 'hierarchy') proponents of what is known as "ageless wisdom" believes that the utopian age will only come about under the leadership and guidance of a world leader/teacher.
They contend that Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius, Jesus, and many others were "christs" but one greater than them all ... a "World Teacher" will soon come to usher in an utopian New Age. Many believe that this leader, possibly a man who has achieved godhood, will possess unparalleled wisdom and knowledge.
Note: Bailey claimed to have telepathically received 24 books of esoteric philosophy, nineteen of which were literally dictated by an ectoplasmic apparition (a "Master of Wisdom") who called himself * Djwhal Khul (The Tibetan), who claimed he lived in a physical body on the borders of Tibet. The bottom line is that the world has to be prepared for this one-world leader who is called by various names including The Christ, Sanat Kumara or Maitreya. However, the plan can only be implemented, and the 'christ' reappear only when the collective consciousness of this planet has been raised to a sufficient degree.
While all that might sound like something that originated in the fertile brain of a science fiction writer, it is the cornerstone of an uncountable number of New Age organizations. An incredibly huge network of individuals, groups, and organizations etc. have become focused on making changes not only at an individual but at a global level.
In other words, one the main goals of the New Age movement has become a concerted effort to facilitate what they call "The Reappearance of The Christ". With this ultimate goal in mind, an incredibly large network of groups, trusts, foundations, clubs, religious groups etc. have become focused on making changes not only at an individual but global level. Few, if any, of of these organizations seem to work in isolation but are closely interconnected with many of the others.
All of Which Was Foretold By The Bible
And how, if at all, does this anticipation of a "world teacher" tie in with what the Bible says will transpire. Unfortunately it couldn't dovetail any more neatly.
In accordance with occult teaching Alice Bailey taught that Atlantis was a real, ancient civilization that was destroyed by cataclysmic floods and was submerged in the Atlantic Ocean. Therefore when she talked about the "situation which existed in Atlantean days" she is obviously referring to the days immediately preceding the global deluge (or Noah's Flood).
In her book The Reappearance of the Christ, Alice Bailey said "in the immediate future", there would be a
"return to the situation which existed in Atlantean days," when the "Masters will walk openly among men", and "the Members of the spiritual Hierarchy were openly guiding and directing the affairs of humanity," [01]
Albeit with a different slant, Alice Bailey's demonic sources were only reiterating what the Scriptures said thousands of years ago. In order to understand what the Bible meant when Jesus said
"As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man," [Luke 17:26-30. Also See Matthew 24:37-39]
Jesus' words are hugely important... since He linked two epochs together and said that one is the parallel of the other.

In other words, in the days immediately preceding the return of Jesus Christ, we shall see strikingly similar conditions to those that existed just prior to the Great Flood (the days of Noah)
The multi million dollar question is what conditions are going to be duplicated.
Peace Keepers?
Don’t get me wrong. It would take someone with a few loose screws to not want peace. Peace keepers, in one form or another, have always existed and bless them... the world would have been a far worse place without their efforts.
The problem here is that these individuals and organizations seek peace by look to a messiah (world teacher) to teach them how to live and to bring harmony to the planet.
They seek peace but completely turn their backs on the God of the universe choosing instead to rely on the words of unidentified apparitions and subjective feelings and experiences, totally ignoring the fact that God Himself has promised us everlasting peace in His kingdom... (and no, this kingdom, or heaven, will not be some ethereal realm 'out there', but a very real and tangible place... Right here. See What and Where is Heaven?
They seek peace by invoking the aid of evil and shaking hands with the devil

Foreword
The following organizations are doing everything they can to create the conditions necessary for the Reappearance of The Christ. Heralded as the 'salvation of earth' or the 'new earth' this movement has gathered immense size and power along the way and is poised to come to fruition.
Note: There are no conspiracy theories or 'flights of fancy' here. Virtually ALL the information presented on this page has been gleaned from the web sites of the respective institutions.
I am sure you are familiar with the old saying, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". Thanks, in no small part, to the following institutions, that road is not only paved, but is being turned into a multiple lane superhighway.
While I am not sure that I have done more than skim the surface, this page should suffice to give the reader an inkling of the magnitude of the great darkness that is sweeping the world. However, there are plenty of others. The Lucis Trust web site writes (Emphasis Added)

Lucis Trust:
formerly Lucifer Publishing Co. an organization that enjoys "Consultative Status" with the United Nations was founded in the 1920s by Alice Bailey. The Lucis Trust is one of the seminal organizations of the entire movement having spawned several other organization - the Arcane School, Triangles, World Goodwill, Lucis Publishing, Lucis Productions, Lucis Trust Libraries, the New Group of World Servers, etc. [See Alice Bailey and The Lucis Trust]
And the purpose of these groups? At their core ALL of them exist for one purpose. As Alice Bailey wrote [Capitalization in original]
"the helping of the Great Ones and the rendering to Them of that intelligent assistance which will make their plans for humanity materialize". [02]
They are focused on making conditions suitable (By occult meditation and reciting of the Great Invocation) for what they call "The Reappearance of The Christ” and claim "Tens of thousands of people of goodwill throughout the world are using the Great Invocation every day" which makes the next statement rather chilling. "The science of invocation is in reality the intelligent organisation of spiritual energy and of the forces of love, and these, when effective, will evoke the response of spiritual Beings Who can work openly among men and thus establish a close relation and a constant communication between humanity and the spiritual Hierarchy". World Goodwill
The World Goodwill group founded in 1932, is particularly important among Lucis Trust's activities.
As a branch of Lucis Trust, it is an accredited Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the Department of Public Information of the United Nations and is represented at regular briefing sessions at the United Nations in New York and Geneva. It maintains informal relations with certain of the Specialised Agencies and with a wide range of national and international non-governmental organisations. It defines itself as
"an organised movement founded in 1932 to help establish right human relations and solve humanity's problems through the constructive power of goodwill. World Goodwill's activities are essentially educational". [04]
They list six recognitions that can provide a basis for realizing their purposes and objectives: The first three are bone chilling [Emphasis Added]
One: Humanity is not following a haphazard or uncharted course -- there is a Plan. This Plan has always existed and is part of the greater design of the Cosmos. The Plan has worked out through the evolutionary developments of the past and because of the special impetus given it from time to time by the great leaders, teachers and intuitives of the human race.
Two: There is an inner spiritual government of the planet, known under such different names as the spiritual Hierarchy, the society of Illumined Minds, or Christ and his Church, according to various religious traditions. Humanity is never left without spiritual guidance or direction under the Plan.
Three: The widespread expectation that we approach the "Age of Maitreya", as it is known in the East, when the World Teacher and present head of the spiritual Hierarchy, the Christ, will reappear among humanity to sound the keynote of the new age. [05]
Arcane School
The Arcane school was established by Alice A. Bailey in 1923. It provides
Training for new age discipleship is provided by the Arcane School. The principles of the Ageless Wisdom are presented through esoteric meditation, study and service as a way of life. [06]
Students from around the world deepen their alignment with the principles of the Ageless Wisdom through esoteric meditation, study and service as a way of life. The annual Arcane School Conference is held in New York, Geneva and London during the higher interlude of the year, the three spiritual festivals. [07]
Arcana Workshops - a non-profit tax-exempt service oriented corporation is located in Los Angeles, CA. Their site says the core of their work
"is meditation and service, doing it and teaching it since 1958" and that they "continue to hold live meditation meetings (in Culver City, CA ) for each of the full moon alignments.
They invite you to
To study with others the Ageless Wisdom as presented by the teachings of Masters Morya, Djwhal Khul and Rakóczi, in the books of Alice A. Bailey, the books published by the Agni Yoga Society in New York and in the Nature of the Soul published by Wisdom Impressions. [08]
They also endeavor to conduct a daily "group or energy directing meditations on various targets around the world" including the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate. This 'energy penetrates the Capitol building through the dome. "As the Light enters the Rotunda, see it split into two streams one moving into the chamber of the House Of Representatives (left) and the other into US Senate (right)."
Participants are instructed to "Fix the image in place with Word of Power, The Great Invocation. Know that this Presence will remain radiating in the space. energize this field everyday at various times" [09]
The Aquarian Age Community (And The UN Meditation Room)
What is really disturbing is that the AAC is promoting the reappearance of this world leader from within the UN.
On April 25, 1945 delegates from 50 nations, met in San Francisco for a conference known officially as the United Nations Conference on International Organization -"their mission was to create an organization that would forever end the scourge of war and serve as a mechanism for future peace."
The Hierarchy kept a keen vigilance over the events of this period and especially over the conference in San Francisco which was of such significance that it called forth the attention of those great lives in Shamballa. We are told that "Year after year, ever since the Buddha achieved His goal of illumination, an effort has been made to increase the flow of enlightenment into the world and to throw the light of wisdom, experience and understanding into the minds of men. At each Full Moon of May this has been the effort of the spiritual Forces which are working out the Will of God." [10]
They also say their "need and responsibility" is contribute in whatever way they can to the success of the UN). But it is not really not about the organization itself but
about cooperating with the great Spiritual Beings who have been working for the past millions of years to establish the Good, the Beautiful and the True on Planet Earth - because that is part of the Cosmic Plan.
They ask how they can through meditation "support and help strengthen the spiritual work of the United Nations"
"As we know, meditation is a powerful method of planetary service. In meditation we use the mind as a channel for the reception of the energies of light and love and the will-to-good and direct these energies into the United Nations and into human consciousness. And the time of the Solar Festivals each month offers the greatest opportunity for meditation, for it is at these times that the energies can more readily reach our planet". [11]
Seven Ray Institute/University of the Seven Rays/The Morya Federation
Categorized as a "Meditation Group" on the Lucis Trust web site [12], the Seven Ray Institute located in Jersey City,
" was founded on September 9, 1985 to inform the public about a subject that had been virtually unheard of until the late 1800’s when H.P. Blavatsky hinted at the “rays” in The Secret Doctrine. About thirty years later, Alice Bailey reintroduced the subject with much more than a hint. She expanded their name to the Seven Rays, made mention of them in all twenty-four of her books. Alice wrote five of those books (A Treatise on the Seven Rays) with the express purpose of making them better understood and useful" . [13] More about these two women HERE
Apparently Michael Robbins - a long standing teacher of Ageless Wisdom - founded or co-founded the Seven Ray Institute, the University of the Seven Rays, and the Morya Federation (named after Master Morya the master of first ray supposedly the Head of all esoteric schools and organizations). Robbins is director of the Morya Federation and President of The University of the Seven Rays and Seven Ray Institute. The three organizations
..."work in the closest cooperation to propagate the Ageless Wisdom and bring its Light, Love and Power more pervasively into the consciousness of humanity... Humanity must come to understand the Divine Plan as the Ageless Wisdom presents it. Thus, will humanity be guided aright and the way prepared for the Externalization of the Hierarchy and the Reappearance of the Christ – the two most important imminent spiritual Events upon our planet.
They
"seek to do their utmost to help "prepare the way" for humanity's ever-closer approach to the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet to the end that the Kingdom of Souls may at last manifest upon the Earth. [14]
Hundreds of students have passed through the University of the Seven Rays Educational Programs working towards the M.S.E. (Master of Science in Esotericism with emphasis in several possible esoteric subjects) and the Ph.D.E. (Doctor of Philosophy in Esotericism), symbolic degrees. Many of the University of the Seven Rays’s students have gone on to establish schools and teaching careers of their own, thus contributing to the spread of the Ageless Wisdom.
They mention the United States, Demark, Germany, Finland, Australia and New Zealand. [15]
A message from Michael Robbins includes the following,
Two great processes are now occurring on our planet. The Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet is in process of externalizing after millions of years of working behind the scenes for the upliftment of humanity. Even more important, the Great Lord, known in the West as the Christ, and in the East as the Lord Maitreya, Krishna and the Bodhisattva, is in process of reappearing. He has never really left humanity since His appearance in the Holy Land some two thousand years ago, but He now intends to emerge, once again, into visibility. As the prophecy says, “every eye shall see Him”. [16]
The Center for Visionary Leadership
The Center for Visionary Leadership was co-founded in 1996 by Corinne McLaughlin and Gordon Davidson, is a non-denominational educational organization based in Washington, D.C
That it is not some hole in the wall organization is shown by the fact that Corinne McLaughlin coordinated a national task force for President Clinton's Council on Sustainable Development, while Gordon was formerly the Executive Director of the Social Investment Forum and of The Center for Environmentally Responsible Economies. They both have served on the adjunct faculty of The American University and the University of Massachusetts and are Fellows of The World Business Academy.
Spiritual Politics - the book McLaughlin and Davidson co-authored, is actually dedicated to Djwhal Khul and Maitreya...

Not only is the foreword is by the Dalai Lama but both Neale Donald Walsch - author of Conversations with God, and Marianne Williamson, author of A Return To Love have paid glowing tributes to it on the front and back covers respectively. Yet McLaughlin and Davidson are very clear that Spiritual Politics is based on the hidden, "Ageless Wisdom" of the occult.
Additionally on page 41 of the book they write
"the next release of Shamballa energy into human consciousness is planned for the year 2000, which will bring another cycle of major upheaval and change as we move into the next millennium. This high voltage energy of synthesis will test every individual and institution to determine of they are aligned with the Higher Will. The Shamballa energy can most safely be handled by groups of people dedicated to the service and uplifting of humanity.
If groups are aligned with the Higher Will when this energy is released through them, they will expand and become more creative, alive, powerful. If they are out of alignment, they will degenerate emotionally, physically and mentally. This process has already begun, as we can see through the downfall of groups that are opposing evolution and synthesis, and will only accelerate in the years ahead. [17]
In other words... They believe that the Shambhala energy will get Christian fundamentalists out of the way...

Findhorn
Corinne McLaughlin was also a fellow of the Findhorn Foundation unintentionally founded by Peter Caddy, Eileen Caddy and Dorothy Macleanin 1962. After losing their employment they tried growing vegetables in what was a sandy and dry environment. However,
In her meditation, Dorothy discovered she was able to intuitively contact the overlighting intelligence of plants – which she called angels, and then devas – who gave her instructions on how to make the most of their fledgling garden."
Findhorn garden became famous especially for their now-legendary 40-pound cabbages. In David Spangler arrived in the community. and helped to define and organise the spiritual curriculum. [18]
Findhorn Press published many of David Spangler's "visionary writings". In his book Reflections On The Christ, David Spangler portrays Lucifer as a positive influence on man who desires the best for humanity, saying
"Lucifer is literally the angel of experience. Lucifer, then, is neither good or bad in his true essence. He is completely neutral. He is an agent of God's love acting through evolution."
Spangler goes on to say,
"Lucifer comes to give us the final gift of wholeness. If we accept it then he is free and we are free. That is the Luciferic initiation. It is one that many people now - will be facing, for it is an initiation into the New Age.”

The utter contempt for the God of the Old Testament, and His Holy Scriptures, is evident in Spangler's writings
'We can take all the Scriptures and all the teachings, and all the tablets and all the Laws, and all the marshmallows and have a jolly good bonfire and marshmallow roast, because that's all they are worth. Once you are the law, once you are the truth, you do not need it externally represented for you.' [19].
Meditation Mount and The School For Esoteric Studies
Meditation Mount in Southern California is located on 32 acres of land at the east end of the Ojai Valley in California. Its lineage stems from the Trans-Himalayan Wisdom Tradition which also gave birth to the work of the Theosophists, Krishnamurti, Rudolph Steiner, etc.
In 1950, Roberto Assagioli who was a "direct student of the Master DK, took on an assignment to promote Creative Meditation and the six universal laws (pathways) and principles to help establish the architecture of a new world.
Eventually he and two others gathered a group of students who took on the role of expanding Creative Meditation and the Universal Spiritual Principles and Pathways around the world. One of these students was an American citizen, Florence Garrigue.
After retiring in 1943, Florence moved to New York to join the Arcane School, an institution for esoteric studies founded by Alice A Bailey who was also a student of the Master DK. After ten years there, Florence and a group of friends started the School for Esoteric Studies in New York which is still active. [20]
The official purpose statement of Meditation Groups, Inc. is taken from ‘Discipleship in the New Age, Vol. II’ ( pp. 231 & 236) by Alice Bailey and uses the wording from the original assignment for which Dr. Assagioli had agreed to assume responsibility back in 1950. It is:
“to establish a united world group given to unanimous and simultaneous meditation upon the work of preparing the world for the new order and for the jurisdiction of the Christ [and] to establish the knowledge of and the functioning of those laws and principles which will control the coming era, the new civilization and the future world culture.” [21]
The School For Esoteric Studies
The School for Esoteric Studies is a nonprofit charitable organization that provides in-depth training in the Ageless Wisdom teachings by correspondence with spiritual seekers around the world, regardless of their current religious or spiritual tradition. [22]
The co-founders – Frank Hilton, Regina Keller (who also worked closely with Alice Bailey), Florence Garrigue, Helen Hillebrecht, and Marguerite Schaefer – had been trained in the Arcane School and had then worked closely with Alice and Foster Bailey on the staff.
"The mission of the School for Esoteric Studies is to provide structured, sequenced esoteric discipleship training, grounded in Ageless Wisdom teachings and designed to produce World Servers. In support of our ultimate focus on world service, our esoteric discipleship training includes both work on individual vertical integration, supplemented by an expansion into horizontal integration and practical application of spiritual principles". [23]
The School of Ageless Wisdom
The School in Arlington, Texas exists as a vehicle for some of those who are attracted to the study and application, respectively, of the Cosmology and Teaching of the Ageless Wisdom in a group setting...
Throughout time there have been many who have passed through the human stage into the place of Synthesis as Being. These Holy Ones are referred to as “Masters of Wisdom.” A few of these Masters have cooperated to produce writings for the part of humanity considered developed enough to use the knowledge in furthering their own, and especially assisting the planetary evolution into eventual spiritual perfection of all relationships.
Three of these Masters are known as the Tibetan Master, D.K.(Djwhal Khul), the Master Morya, and Master Rakoczi. These are the specific Teachings studied in the School of Ageless Wisdom. It is only through study, meditation and application that the Truths presented can be realized in the consciousness and life of students.
The specific books we study are published by The Lucis Trust, The Agni Yoga Society and Wisdom Impressions Publications. [24]
Pathways To Peace (PTP)
Founded in 1981, Pathways To Peace (PTP) is a United Nations-designated Peace Messenger Organization that holds Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the Department of Global Communication (DGC).
It is an international Peacebuilding, educational, and consulting organization that has spent over four decades turning the ideal of Peace into reality. Their stated mission is to
"expand the understanding and expression of Peace, support Peacebuilders and Peace building initiatives, and build an integral global movement for a Culture of Peace". [25]
Although they say nothing about 'ancient wisdom', Alice Bailey etc. Avon Mattison, founder of Pathways To Peace was a Findhorn Fellow and was on the Board of Directors for The Center for Visionary Leadership (web site - https://www.ipsgeneva.com/) .
Like Corinne McLaughlin Avon Mattison was not some fairground psychic but an exceedingly accomplished lady. She
"served as special advisor to United Nations Conferences, Declarations and Programmes, and also to renowned international leaders and emerging youth leaders." She also server on the Advisory Councils/Boards of several international organizations and has been quoted in numerous publications worldwide". [26]
The international organizations include including: the Global Commission to Fund the United Nations, the Center For Visionary Leadership, Ehama Institute, Foundation for the Healing Among Nations, Global Youth Action Network, Radio For Peace International, World Peace Prayer Society, the World Centers of Compassion for Children, and the World Fund for the Dignity of Children.
Among many others the Pathways To Peace advisors included Barbara Marx Hubbard, David Spangler, Steve Nation, and Jean Houston (spiritual mentor of Lauren Artress .. the Episcopal priest who runs the Labyrinth Project)

Intuition in Service (New Zealand)
Intuition in Service is an independent, non profit program founded in 1999. Steve Nation, a student of the Alice Bailey teachings for over 30 years, was co-founder of the initiative.
He was, in various capacities, associated with the Lucis Trust for over 50 years (holding positions in the London and New York offices for 30 years) with a particular interest in the work of World Goodwill. Now retired from the New York office, he continues to be involved in activities associated with the Trust; with projects in Darjeeling; and with Intuition in Service, the UN Days & Years Meditation Initiative, and the Spiritual Caucus at the United Nations. He, along with his partner Barbara Valocore (Lifebridge Foundation above) are council members of the Spiritual Caucus at the United Nations. [28]
Sydney Goodwill
Sydney Goodwill Unit of Service financed solely by voluntary contributions is a not-for-profit organisation affiliated with World Goodwill which has headquarters in London, Geneva and New York.
It "emerged in 1979 when a small group undertook to make available in Australia the Ageless Wisdom teachings as presented for the Western mind by the Tibetan Master and Alice A. Bailey. The group set up as a Unit of Service affiliated with World Goodwill and established a “not for profit” book distribution organization to provide the Lucis Press publications of Alice A. Bailey under wholesale arrangement with bookshops around the country."

"Host meditation meetings at the time of the full moon each month in Sydney" ... Distribute the Literature of the Lucis Press and promote books on aspects of esotericism" [29]

was founded in 1982 in Arizona, to promote Ageless Wisdom, and will, as they say "will share information about The Ageless Wisdom, Hierarchy, Agni Yoga, Astrology" etc.
Founder and president, Rev. Joleen D. DuBois
"is a teacher of spiritual science, the Ageless Wisdom, and an accomplished writer, astrologer, composer and musician"... Based upon her experience and wisdom as a Teacher and lecturer, she has written three books based on her public talks. The series is called Sunday Talks on the Ageless Wisdom, and the books are available through the WMEA on-line Bookstore. [30]

Institute for Planetary Synthesis in Geneva:
The Institute for Planetary Synthesis is an NGO in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) and was founded in 1981 in Geneva. It aims at reawakening an awareness of spiritual values in daily life and promoting planetary awareness to which end they meet once a month (as decided during the General Assembly in 2020) for a group meditation and sharing on planetary synthesis and service activities. [32]
They have branches & contacts in Cabinda (an oil-rich exclave province of Angola), The Congo, Moscow, The Ukraine, Belarus, Benin. Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica. The Ivory Coast, Italy, Madagascar, Mexicao, Nigeria, Portugal,etc.

Sign rulership are different in Esoteric Astrology than the rulers used in mundane or personality astrology. The Great Invocation, a world prayer given after the second World War, calling humanity to join The New Group of World Servers, an esoteric group of men and woman working for world peace. It is said to be part two of The Lord’s Prayer. [35]

The religious axiom that there will be a reappearance of the Christ does not mean a being from on high will make another appearance. The “Christ” represents us, as soon as we unify our consciousness. World Goodwill offers a series of studies of humanity's challenges. The underlying causes are highlighted and discussed. The effective use of a trained mind in reflection and meditation is emphasized.
An essential tool in the work is to convey a prayer or mantra that is already in use all over the world by millions of people from different traditions and cultures: The Great Invocation. [37]
Conclusion
The so called "ancient wisdom" have been transmitted to the world by Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, Helena Roerich and many others who, over the last few decades, have been contacted (and manipulated) by spirit guides usually referred to as "Ascended Masters", "Masters of Wisdom, the "Hierarchy of Light" etc. These guides have communicated their messages, which have been duly written down by their compliant minions then presented to the world as "truth".
This done without one ounce of evidence that the spirit guide was who he claimed to be, or that his message be at all trusted. They speak and human beings, falling over like ninepins, rush to embrace whatever "wisdom" is being put forth. It is accepted that these spirits are who they claim to be, and that the particulars they provide are unreservedly true.
No further proof or evidence asked for, and none received.
Teachers of "ancient wisdom" are endeavoring to shape the very world on the words of a spook without credentials or a shred of evidence that they are who they say they are, and that their intentions are as honorable as they make them out to be.
And they call Christians fools? Seems to me the boot is on the other foot.
New Agers dismiss the Bible as being unreliable (in spite of much evidence to the contrary). However, make no mistake.. the Bible is either totally deceptive, totally deranged, or totally divine--there is no fourth option like 'a very good and insightful book'.
Although the Bible does not glow in the dark, levitate or exhibit any other supernatural qualities, it is possible to determine the validity and the authenticity of the claims made by the Scriptures.
Just for a start... the very authorship of the Bible is a literary miracle... impossible to account for upon ordinary principles.
Written by over forty independent writers over a 1,500 year time span in three different languages and on three different continents under many different circumstances. In fact, the authors had as many as twenty different occupations ranging from a couple of kings, a general, a musician, a priest, a tax collector, a physician and at least two fishermen.
This diverse group wrote about a huge number of different subjects in all literary forms (poetry, prose, letters etc) yet Without possible concert or collusion they produced a book which in all its parts, has one spirit, one doctrine, one design. It is amazing that with such diversity, there is such unity in the Bible. A unity organized around one theme... God's redemption of man and all of creation.
Hundreds of controversial subjects are addressed and yet the writers do not contradict each other. [See Could You Write The Bible? On THIS page]

Many, if not most, non-Christians assume that Christianity is a "blind faith"... that Christians ignore reality and have unquestioning loyalty to an absolute belief system without proof or evidence. In fact, that they believe contrary to all evidence and facts.
This claim is made by those who have absolutely no idea that Christianity is squarely based on evidence and that the Judeo-Christian faith consistently stresses the importance of truth and makes appeal to evidence to support it's truth claims. In fact, it is actually quite remarkable as to how many times, God, Jesus, and the prophets of both the Old and New Testaments appealed to facts to support what they said and taught. This evidence includes the Bible’s humanly impossible authorship, it's candor about the faults and failings of it's main characters, fulfilled prophecy (It is a simple matter to ascertain whether such prophecies have been fulfilled or not), and it's archaeological and scientific accuracy... none of which are seen in the books of other religions.
Ancient Wisdom - The Fulfillment of Centuries old Biblical Prophecy
Fascinating isn't it that many thousands of years before these 'peace' organizations were ever dreamed of and thousands of years before the Blavatskys, Baileys, Walschs, Findhorns and Lifebridges were ever imagined, the Scripture foretold of this day.
Warned us that in the countdown to the end of the age a "man of sin" or "son of perdition" would arrive on the scene and people would cry "peace and safely".
In fact, this escalation of people working towards 'peace' under the circumstances outlined above is one of the most telling signs of the End Times. I have little doubt that it will be these same people who in the future will think they have actually achieved "peace and safety" when their 'christ' arrives.
However, Scripture very certainly tells us that God Himself will visit "sudden destruction" upon the criers.
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape. [1Thesslonians 5:2-3].
God Himself will bring peace, but in His time and, on His terms and for His people.
Note: The phrase "day of the Lord" sometimes referred to as "that day" identifies events that take place at the end of history as we know it. A span of time during which God personally, and directly, intervenes to bring about the end of this age and the beginning of a new and permanent one. It is not certain whether the phrase refers to a single day or a period of time, but what we can be certain about is that there will be a cataclysmic events in the heavens and on earth when the Lord will destroy this earth.
This will be followed by Christ's return to earth with His followers to establish His eternal kingdom.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. [2 Peter 3:10 NASB]
'The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come. [Acts 2:20 NASB]
